Marilyn is a retired community education director, with a BA in geology, a National Community Education Fellow, who is a graduate of the Blandin Community Leadership Program and the Blandin Academy for Advancing Community. Most recently she has served as a consultant in seven states, on asset based community development. Recognitions have included Minnesota Community Educator of the Year, The Environmental Award for Individuals Outstanding Contribution to the Environment of Houston County and the Appreciation Award for Volunteer Community Service in Preserving the Natural Beauty of Houston County.
